§ 01What's included

Six things every audit covers.

01 / 06

Account structure review

Campaigns, ad groups, keywords, match types, negatives. I look for the common structural mistakes that quietly eat budget — over-segmented campaigns with no data, under-segmented campaigns that blur bidding signals, keyword bleed between ad groups, and negatives that don't match your actual business.

02 / 06

Conversion tracking diagnostic

I re-test every conversion action end-to-end. Pixels, GA4 imports, offline conversions, call tracking, duplicate firing. If Google Ads is optimising against bad data, nothing else matters — this is usually the biggest find.

03 / 06

Search terms & waste analysis

I pull 12 months of search terms and sort them by spend. Queries that have cost money but will never convert get surfaced here, with a specific % of your budget tagged as recoverable.

04 / 06

Bidding strategy review

Whether you're on tCPA, tROAS, Max Conversions, Max Clicks, or something bespoke — I check whether the strategy matches your data volume, the value signal quality, and the portfolio setup.

05 / 06

Landing page friction notes

Not a full CRO audit, but I'll flag the obvious friction. Slow pages, confusing forms, missing trust signals, mobile-only bugs. Things that a developer can fix in a day.

06 / 06

30-minute walkthrough call

Once the report lands, we jump on a call so I can walk you through the findings in order of impact. You ask whatever. You keep the recording.

§ 04FAQ

Things people ask.

01

Why £500?

Because it's enough work that a free audit would be a lie, and little enough that there's no excuse not to do it before we talk about retainer. A proper audit is 10–15 hours of senior work — if someone offers it free, they're either cutting corners or using it as a pretext to sell you something else.

02

Do I get the report even if we don't work together?

Yes. It's yours. Take it to your next agency, keep it in a drawer, whatever — I'd rather you leave with something useful than feel locked in. About a third of audit clients don't go on to monthly management, and that's fine.

03

How much of my time does this take?

Roughly 45 minutes total — a 15-min kick-off call at the start, and a 30-min walkthrough at the end. I need MCC access to your Google Ads account and read-only access to GA4. That's it.

04

Do you work with agencies already managing my account?

Sometimes. If you want a second-opinion audit while keeping your current agency, that's fine — but I'll be honest in the report, which some agencies don't love. Your call.

05

What accounts is this NOT right for?

If you're spending under £2k/month, a full audit is probably overkill. If you're spending over £50k/month, you likely need someone in-house rather than a fractional specialist. And if you're running Performance Max as 100% of your strategy, we should talk before you book.
